About Us

Det Gode Selskab (DGS) was started by Terje Dybdahl and Christian Berg in Oslo back in 2011. A few years later, Thomas Refvik and Karl Markus Zavodny Fraunhofer joined the team. Today DGS is ran by these four partners.

Our brand, Det Gode Selskab, is a record label, an artist collective, and a series of events in Norway and abroad. We're known for creating a progressive and inclusive club experience, often turning unexpected places like Økernsenteret or Det Gamle Biblioteket into buzzing rave spots featuring various electronic music genres.

We promote both Norwegian and international music in the house and techno genres, along with visual arts. Our goal is to drive active cultural development and create a bigger stage where new Norwegian talents and established artists from around the world can meet and showcase their art. This includes A&R, running a record label, event production, sound production, and booking artists.
